During the throes of the dot come bubble bust back in 2001 the world quickly forgot about the ailing tech industry and tumbling stock prices when Saudi nationals belonging to a former cia/saudi funded movement championed by Egyptian and Saudi nationals trained in Pakistan used american planes to crash into the world trade center (the new york stock market).

Now in the end of the new housing market/credit derivatives bubble new economies in Tailand and Indian are facing their worst “terrorist” attacks in a while. Sri Lanka, the seas of Somalia and Kenya, the Congo, Israel and Lebanon, Chad and Sudan, the jungles of South America, the balkans, not to mention the media darlings Paki-afghanistan and Iraq. War is everywhere being fought by everyone.

It is possible that violence of this magnitude happens when people are hungry and facing supposed end time scenarios.

This is a dangerous world and getting more turbulent as it progresses. Chaos is overtaking the senses as more actors come into play and the ability to sow destruction and reap death becomes more widespread.

This is where times really get interesting.

One cannot serve two masters.

The problem with communism and populism, looking out for the little guy, trying to clothe feed and clean the unwashed masses is that there are so damn many of them. You serve so many masters that all your work gets used up before it does any good. Everybody knows that when your attention is divided you don’t give proper attention to either task.

I came up from a poor background so I have a born and bred tendancy to be communist. Both my parents were bleeding heart and anti-establishment so naturally they neither courted nor could keep money. I grew up as all humans do being suspicious about things I didn’t know. Who are these rich people? Why didn’t they share? Why did they think they were special. Who made them rich?

As I grew up I learned the answers and to my surprise (even now!) I began respecting the rich more than I respected my own kind. Poor people love communism because communism promises that no matter how lazy you are you can get the same benefits as the guy who works his ass off every day. Politicians love communism as well because taking from the rich and shepherding a nation of sheep makes their overpaid jobs seem valid. It’s a lot of work ironing out society making sure that individuals and groups don’t work too hard or get too upity and intimidate others. A state of healthy educated equals grinning away as they work towards common goals is fantasy and dismissed as such even before Marx sat brooding in his London flat.

Another reason why poor and mentally disturbed people buy into communism and populist leaders is because their minds are still infantile and undeveloped. They are still fantasizing about the time they were still attatched to an umbilical chord benefitting from the diet and activities of their mother. People still love floating through life just growing hair and toe nails. Their second best would be an occasional bawl for a tit. People need to grow up.

Poverty is a disease a mental block a chicane that slows down society but also slows down the individual. If mom and dad, teacher, supervisor and government are always there to hold your hand then you never learn to run, jump or fly.
