John Paul II (dead)
Pope John Paul was a good man, a very good man. I feel that the media cheapens his memory by making such a clamour over him. despite his lofty position he tries to be humble. a simple pine box. Fitting for a slave of God. He is dead now, so I dont respect all the excitement over a corpse. If this many people paid him his due respect while he was alive then maybe things would be a lot better for all of us.
I also wonder about the security at this event. If Al Qida ever have an opportunity to do a lot of Christian and high profile killing then this would have been it. One need not even use a bomb. Just a vial of anthrax or agent orange and boom! you get an instant calamity. Not only do they mar christians but also get a shot at the U.S. and French Presidents, Tony Blair and tonnes of other world leaders.
Security cant be all that tight, with so many people in the huh-bub things can happen.
Hopefully it wont, Al Qida is perhaps too weak and unprepared to stage any more grand plans.
