Masopher's Mind

So with a volcano in Europe, an earthquake in China, health and financial reform in America along with a massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico a British election all seems pretty quiet elsewhere. Apart from the racist that was killed in Africa and Thailand being immobilized until the two factions short their shit out, nothing really seems to be hitting the English speaking headlines much. Even the totally awesome fight in the Ukrainian Parliament got little more than a nod. Come to think of it a lot is going on, but people just care more about a Prime Minister calling a bigot “a bigot”.

Masopher suffers from the same “eye of sauron” tunnel vision that most people do. Whatever every single media outlet wants to cover is covered and its as if the rest of the world stops happening. Even Hollywood seems quite muted, yes Downy-Jr’s comic book movie (Ironman 2) will be out on Friday but….it seems like a sideshow. Over the top movies come every week and will continue to do so for the rest of the spring and summer.

Flashy-light movies happen as regularly as bankers fucking over each other and the taxpayer having to bail them out. Rich people have to bear so little responsibility. this furor over Goldman sachs being the mediator of built to fail packages means nothing because it was one greedy hedgefund taking advantage of other greedy hedgefunds…and luckily we dont bail out hedgefunds…yet. Stocks are still rising and oil companies are back to making triple digit profits.

The world is pretty normal. And that’s why I am going to spend some time writing some Masopher stories in he next few weeks. I hope you like ‘em.

I was listening to a lecture by Gilles Kepler and it really brought back to me just how instrumental London is in creating radical Islam.  Almost none of what I am about to say was mentioned by Kepler by the way, but here’s what I think.

English guy (T.E. Lawrence) goes riding through Arabia inciting Anti Ottoman and Anti German sentiment. This leads to the defeat of two empires one in the Middle East and the other a bit later in North Africa. The Middle East and Africa is divvied up between the French and English. In a similar fashion, later Germany and Europe is divvied up between the USA and Russia.

England decides to break up Indiostan into Muslim and a Hindu countries, making one country that has two parts and another much larger one dividing it and leaving a large plot of land unallocated. The two new countries, India and Pakistan-Bangladesh fall into fighting and civil war as Muslims and Hindus become displaced and soon one set of Muslims(The Bengalis) decide not to be part of the other set (The Pakistanis). Both countries soon acquire nuclear weapons, Allah/Vishnu know where from, and proceed to start not only racing to destruction but proliferating weapons of mass destruction to every rag head, bearded prophet and wild eyed dictator that can fork over oil money.

Along with the lovely Muslim and Hindu countries, England “loses control” of its large Jewish population and by lose control I mean encourages and assists;  to grab a large swathe of land which displaces a Muslim population and creates a contentious Jewish country.

Later, England loses control of the Persian population and by loses control I mean the puppet that was exploiting his people and allowing BP to plunder the oil was thrown out in a revolution that put a serious dent in global wealth via the crash of 1979 and creates a serious enemy of the West in the form of Khomeini and his Iranian successors.

One massive country with oil slips away but thanks to billions of dollars worth of planes in the Al Yamamah agreements another is held tightly as a friend. Over the years the Saudi government with its Yemeni refugees proves to be an invaluable source of information, insurgents and energy.

England has also been inviting uneducated unfamiliar populations from India, Pakistan and dozens of Arab and North African countries into England to essentially graft themselves onto the UK population. They can become “British” but they can never be “English”. England is a country of Caucasians that was known for sending several crusades into these same countries and with much foreign office meddling (see above for Lawrence of Arabia or various “Chatham House Version” incursions).  The British are the populations that pay taxes do the menial jobs and get used and sponsored in efforts to bring down the governments of the countries that they left behind.

Sooner or later the Muslims start talking. Yes they are helping the Muslim brotherhood fight Egypt, Syria and Libya, and yes they are helping the Mujahideen fight the Soviets but they also start trading stories about Palestine, and the fact that most of the apostate Governments and “near enemies” are actually part sponsored by English and Western taxes.

The story can get confusing because there is so much happening all at once but the Muslims eventually seem to get the point that England and its set of Western colonies(The states of America) are the real (far)enemy. Even young Nigerians bear a taint of London schooling as they board American flights on Christmas day with the intent of setting their crotch on fire to the demise of people heading home to eat figgy pudding and some honey roasted ham with their loved ones.

The English threat is very obvious to the Arab, North African, Persian and South Asian populations, its not a threat of direct force but a threat of machination. But the double talking double dealing lessons have been learned by the target populations along with a sense of cynicism and paranoia. India, Pakistan, Iran Israel and Saudi Arabia exchange pleasantries one day and threaten each other existentially the very next. What once threatened Spain, Germany and France in one form two centuries ago now threatens the future of humanity in this one. It’s not England but it’s unmistakably English.

Europe is a mess of political geographic and social lines that Brussels will take decades to untangle even before it can think about dealing with them. From early 20^th century fascists in Austria, neo Nazis in Berlin, ultra liberal Parisians, British Labour and Tories, Italian proto-dictators, eastern European (former?) communists.

In the United States, though far less socialist minded there still remains several fractures between secessionists in the west(Texas Alaska and California), Liberals on the coasts, Social democrats, Libertarians, Conservatives, militias is Michigan, massive and disenfranchised African American and Latin American populations not to mention the minute population of the original inhabitants that survived the holocaust (starting) 4 centuries ago.

Even in China one learns of a complex set of peoples who are genetic continuations of Arab, Indian, Mongolian and Russian neighbours. The neo-communist clique in Beijing might like us to think that the only differences in the nation are the different ways the regions cook their chicken and noodles but this is less convincing than assertions that Tibet and Taiwan are part of the happy family. So too in the middle east, 7 million embittered Jews and Arabs live unhappily in an area the size of New Jersey, while Sunni, Shia, Turkmen, Persians, Kurds, Balochs, live uneasily united only by the thought that the rest of the world is out to get them for the black liquid they happened to have pitched their tents or daubed together their hovels on.

Why then can the most massive continent on earth be summed up by the phrase “poor, corrupt black people”? In the north of Africa, the Muslim and Maghreb populations are more Arabic than “African”. In Ethiopia, Eretria and Somalia yet another genetic line exists. I can spot an Ethiopian within minutes, their distinctive faces and ears making them stand out more than Obama in the senate. Northern and Southern Nigeria have very different tribes, at each others throats and the massacres in central Africa should be more than enough to convince even the most casual racist that behind all the dark faces there are eyes that see something a bit more than non-white skin.

Even beyond my rant. Significant populations of white and mixed Africans live on the massive body of land. South Africa for starters. It is the least equatorial of the African countries; Scarlett Johannsen, Prince Williams Girlfriend, Richard Dawkins, Sade, 90% of the South African cricket team… white Africans aren’t to hard to find and I don’t think that a Boer who shoots a native for being on “his land” experiences a moment of irony.

The divide I am currently researching is the Maghreb /Aethiopia divide. For those who forgot, Aethiopia is sub-Saharan and southern Africa and the Maghreb is North Africa minus Egypt. Egypt is just Egypt, but it is also Africa, North Africa and the Middle East. To the west of that is: Sudan, Libya, Algeria and Morocco. These countries are predominantly Muslim and strongly influenced and affiliated with Arabic culture.

Below the belt of Saharan sand, former European colonies -many of them Christian –  eek out a different kind of existence.  With Zimbabwean and Bantu roots the various cultures enjoyed a semi isolation from the world of Caesar, Qin, Charlemagne, Ottoman, and other primeval empires. Only after Europeans discovered boats and Arabs started packing them into them for the slave trade did Aethiopians become fully aware that life existed above the harsh sands of the Sahara. And it was harsh indeed, the life that is and the inhabitants of the cradle of civilization learned the hard way to grow up. This part of Africa went through its own hardships and kingships and even some international travel and trade but never sought to amount to much since every man languished in natural wealth and an abundance of mega fauna/flora. Content as well to worship whatever stick or stone they please, conquest ran out of steam and the kind of domination and leaps forward seen in the northern hemisphere.

The African North has been a crossroads, a road, a battlefield, a hideout and a fall back spot for conquesting civilizations. The African South has been a new land, a place to exploit and a sleepy backwater of civilization.  The differences are myriad.
