Israel and Iran have so much in common but in truth they are the big kids in the sandbox struggling to be the bully of the playground. Israel goes to war with inferior neighbours because Israel needs to “bargain from a position of strength”. What a nonsense phrase, but apparently I am encouraged to accept it. Only after defeating Egypt a couple times and getting a few bloody noses over territory did Israel choose to start talking to Egypt. Now it is ridiculous how close the two are as they deal with the “Palestinian problem”. Jordan is so familiar with Israel that other Arabs sometimes consider the latter to be nothing more than a vassal regime. Iraq has been so pulverized by Israel and the US that Israeli contractors are welcomed in to rebuild the near flattened country.

Iran has never really fought Israel. It stayed out of the 6 day war and has never launched missiles into Israel. Iran nationalized the oil in 1970’s, severely damaging BP’s profits. Iran is seeking Nuclear power. Iran’s president hates the regime in Israel. Iran and all other Arab countries refuse to acknowledge the existence of Israel. Iran also reportedly supports Hezbollah and Hamas. Hezbollah are Shia, Hamas is Sunni. Iran is also allied with Syria and Turkey. Every country in the middle-east has supported Hezbollah and Hamas.

Israel did in fact take Palestinian Muslim land. Israel did in fact make millions of refugees out of the people living in Palestine and Israel does in fact kill Muslim Palestinians regularly. Israel reportedly holds weapons of mass destruction threatening the region. Israel does attack neighbours, Israel is in fact ruled most of the time by rightwing nut-jobs. Israel does in fact have covert operatives, assassins and saboteurs in Iran.

Iran is both the biggest guy to be taken out but also the weakest link. Iran’s Persians and Shiite do have slightly antagonistic relationships with Arab and Sunni countries. Saudi Arabia and Iraq would not shed too many tears if Tehran took an embarrassing pounding from the little “Davids” to their North. With Iraq unable to counterbalance Iran’s hegemony, the American backed Jews are almost necessary to keep a lid on Iran’s ambitions. By spending millions on surface to air missiles Iran doesn’t have the million to spend on surface to surface technology or ship to ship warfare. All in all, Iran has all the right to wish that Israel did not exist and Israel should continue to threaten Iran.

I don’t think Iran, Iranians or Ahmedinejad is anti-Semitic, but seriously, anybody who says the word “Jew” without genuflecting is anti-Semitic. I will never run for office so I don’t have to watch what I say, wrong is wrong and intelligent people must be able to have an opinion without Auschwitz being thrown in their face. I also beleive that Jews are the most resilient, intelligent and determined races in historical terms and they definately deserve to live in the land of their ancestors and they must enjoy life free from threats and intollerance. 

In the middle of the 20th century Japan and the USA massacred each other brutally and came through to become economic powerhouses. Perhaps bad blood needs to be shed in order for the catharsis and recovery to happen.

Today Barak Obama wakes up to a world of new hate. Forget about being a “black” man or a lawyer, now he becomes the president of the United States of America in a world that is both awake to what the USA is and a world that imagines the USA to be a whole lot worse than it actually is.

What the USA is, is a land of opportunity. A land that provides opportunity for anything. While some of the greatest things in modern history has been born out of this freedom and opportunity. Opportunity is provided for events like 9/11 and people that sell on toxic assets to other banks around the world. Because of the USA being what it is, the most ugly sides of the human psyche can come to light and get its 15 minutes in the glowing buzz of paparrazi and 24 hour news channels.

Now that all of the great PR has brought him this far Obama now faces a world where he has to do it without a .6 Billion dollar campaign.

Already the Washington Post has popped up with stories about Obamas elite backers. We know of Obamas more unsavory backers but now spreading like wildfire in Muslim communities are stories of Obamas “hidden” backers.

Obama who was once smeared as a Muslim is now being smeared as a “zionist illuminatist” with all the anti-semetic acoutriments that organizations like Hamas embed into their way of life.

Unfortunately the very fact that so many of Obamas rich contributers are rich Jews won’t be received well by poor arabs and muslims especialy ones who are on the receiving end of a lopsided Jewish war.
