G8 and farming

The G8 have, with many years of Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard and elite education recently discovered that poor countries need to grow their own food. The previous plan was that rich countries grow excess food and drive out the local markets and then when the countries are too poor to import the food, donate that food to the newly impoverished countries. Now the G8 have come up with a new slogan which is both brilliant and insightful: Instead of giving a man a fish and feeding him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for life.

This initiative is so monumental, that it is obvious to see why the G8 are rich while the rest of the world is poor. While it remains unclear to even Masopher, who donated food to the G8 when they were developing, it is clear that the vast superior intelligence eventually allowed the G8 to fend for themselves. Now here it seems the G8 has passed the torch and allowed the ignorant masses to discover the modern technology of agrarian society. The G8 will now undertake to spend $12 billion dollars teaching the savages of the third world to put seeds in the ground, water them and reap them when the time is right, so that they may export the raw product and have it processed and returned as edible meals for the new generation of farmers.

It is a true sign of the special education taught in Europe, America and Japan that for thousands of years they have managed to grow crops while countries where animals and crops grow more readily and plentifully have been incapable of producing food. Despite being the cradle of great civilizations, Africa, China, South America, the gulf area and India have stagnated in fallow ignorance and have been thus far incapable of understanding the dynamics of fertilization, germination and growth.

Masopher waits with bated breath to see if the G8 will undertake to stop selling the recreational weapons of mass destruction to third world countries who have been abusing said technology from the intended hunting purposes and to incomprehensible functions in genocide.
